Load Balanced Routing Protocols for Ad Hoc Mobile Wireless Networks
1.Metrics:
A. Node delay
B. Active Path
C. Packets in interface queue
D. Channel access probability
E. Traffic size
2.Comparisons of load metrics:
ABR,LBAR,TSA: Complexity of capturing load is LOW
LARA,CSLAR,LAOR: Complexity of capturing load is HIGH
3. Comparisons of load balanced ad hoc routing protocols
LABR, ABR suitable for local area network (LAN).
CSLAR, LARA is suitable for loading (traffic) measurement.
LOAR seems to worst routing algorithm.
4. post-failure:
ABR and LBAR:
A localized route discovery process is triggered to find a suboptimal least loaded route
CSLAR, TSA, LARA, and LAOR:
Source node will then reinitiate a route discovery to find a new least loaded route
